The opportunity

Give your product the cutting edge.

Everyone in nutraceuticals is looking for an edge.

Picture a vitamin C product on a shelf beside two hundred others. The base ingredient is largely the same, and so is the label. ZIP™ gives your product a story of its own: the same nutrient your formula already calls for, carbon-bonded for next-generation absorption. That is a difference you can put on the label and build a brand around.

Powered by ZIP™

Two hundred vitamin C products. One with a technology story.

How it works

From liquid nutrition to powdered ingredients.

Carbon Bond Technology has been used in liquid nutritional products for more than three decades. ZIP™, short for Zeta Infusion Performance, adapts that technology into a powder format that can be applied to individual raw ingredients, opening a new way for other companies to incorporate it into their own formulations.

Zeta Advantage applies the technology.
You build it into your product.

Portrait of Dr. Richard Drucker
Dr. Richard A. Drucker, M.S., N.D., Ph.D. Developer of Carbon Bond Technology and ZIP™ National President, American Naturopathic Medical Association

The hard part wasn't carbon bonding. It was making it powder.

Dr. Richard Drucker developed Carbon Bond Technology over more than thirty years of research, and for all of that time it lived in liquid form. Converting it into a stable powder that could be applied to raw materials was a challenge he expected might take another decade or more.

His first attempt did not hold. He returned to the bonding structure and developed a protective outer layer designed to withstand processing. During processing, that layer gives way under heat, allowing Carbon Bond Technology to bond with the selected raw material. The result is a finished ZIP™ ingredient: a carbon-bonded powder made for use in other companies' formulations.

"I didn't know if I'd be able to do this in my lifetime, let alone this year."

FAQ

Your questions, answered.

Is ZIP™ a finished supplement?

No. ZIP™ is applied to raw nutritional ingredients intended for use in other companies' finished products. You purchase the ZIP™ ingredient and build it into your own formulation.

How does ZIP™ relate to Carbon Bond Technology?

ZIP™ is the powder adaptation of Carbon Bond Technology. The underlying technology is the same one used in liquid nutritional products for more than thirty years, now preserved in a dry format that can be bonded to individual raw materials.

Who is ZIP™ for?

Supplement brands, formulators, manufacturers, and ingredient distribution partners. Healthcare professionals and researchers are welcome to connect to learn about the technology or discuss relevant introductions.
